The CRC is designed as a retreat space.
WiFi: All meeting spaces have access to WiFi. The CRC provides WiFi for presenters only. We ask groups not to share presenter WiFi with staff/retreatants as that will limit the bandwidth that the presenters have access to. WiFi code provided on Golden Plunger Flip Chart
Sound System: Eugene, Oblate, and Chapel have sound systems. These are simple sound systems that provide microphones. The CRC provides microphone cables, microphones, and microphone stands in each hall: Eugene (3), Oblate (3), Chapel (3). The Sound Systems in Eugene, Oblate, and Chapel can have musical instruments connected but groups must bring their own instrument cords.
*If a group plans on using an iPod, they need to bring their own cable to connect to the CRC sound system. We recommend groups bring their own JBL or similar sound system to connect to their iPod or phone by Bluetooth. The sound systems have wifi ability.
**For chapel only - For groups over 100, a wireless mic set-up can be requested in advance for ambo and presider.

Projection: Eugene and Oblate Hall have projectors mounted into the ceiling. The projector is shown on the wall above the stage. Oblate connects at the front and Eugene at the back. An HDMI connector for your laptop is required. If you plan to use a laptop in Eugene from the front, notify staff ahead of time, so we can run cable along with safety conduit to the front. The projection does not allow for good-quality sound. Groups are encouraged to bring their own JBL or computer speakers to connect to their laptops for showing video clips.
TV: Marian Hall and the Ali Center are equipped with large screen TVs that can be connected to the internet or your laptop by HDMI cable. The CRC does have a DVD player that can be used with the TV. If you want to use the DVD player, notify staff ahead of time, so we can have connected for you.
Outdoor Amplification: In compliance with the City of Dickinson, outside amplification is limited to personal sound systems that can not be heard over 50-foot away. A group planning on a band outside should have prior approval with CRC and City of Dickinson. This is only allowed when your group is only group onsite (so it does not impact other retreat experiences). After CRC approval can get approval from City for noise since we have neighbors and our within the City of Dickinson City limits. Groups are allowed to use a personal karaoke system for the microphone when praying outdoor such as the rosary or stations of the cross.
Musical Instruments:
- Piano provided in (Eugene, Oblate, and Chapel)
- Keyboard provided (Eugene)
CRC only provides what is listed above. Additional sound needs are provided by the group attending. As a courtesy, if your group unplugs microphones, plug them back in for the next group.
Email [email protected] with your Audio/Visual needs at least 14-days in advance.
