The Christian Renewal Center is located on 52 beautiful wooded acres on the bayou in Dickinson, Texas, easily located off I-45 and in-between Houston and Galveston. The CRC has four different meeting spaces to accommodate groups of various sizes with different types of lodging, including bunk-houses that sleep up to 16 people each and rooms that can accommodate individuals and families. The CRC has two Catholic chapels, covered sports pavilion, a large swimming pool, and bayou access. The CRC hosts groups year-round, including family, individual, and youth retreats. The CRC is owned by the Catholic Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and used by individuals, religious organizations, churches, businesses, and education.
The Christian Renewal Center is a full-service, dedicated retreat center conveniently located on 52 wooded acres with two sides on the bayou, south of Houston; long standing in the community and accomplished in hosting Christian retreats for all ages and ethnicities. Our Mission is to draw people into a relationship with Jesus Christ and His Church through retreat ministry.
The Christian Renewal Center is owned by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston, leased, operated, and 100% financially managed through the laity through the 501c3 nonprofit CRC Retreat Partners, Inc. The CRC does not receive financial support from the Archdiocese, and 100% of funds raised through retreat income, grants, and donations are spent for the CRC.
