
what you need to know:The various kinds of retreats that come to the CRC can be divided into two basic categories: HOSTED RETREAT - These are planned and executed by church groups, staffs, or other groups or individuals for which the CRC provides the meals and/or venue. eg: ACTS, Church Staff, School Students, Marriage Encounter, Private, etc. CRC SPONSORED RETREAT - The CRC provides for all aspects of the event; planning, marketing, presenters, director, etc. as well as providing the venue. eg: RCIA, Confirmation, Seasonal and Religious Themes, etc. (Occasionally, events/retreats are co-sponsored by the CRC together with another group. eg: Faith into Fire, John Michael Talbot, etc.) If you are planning a hosted retreat for your church or organization and would like to check CRC availability for the dates you prefer, please call our office at (281) 337-1312 between the hours of 9 and 5, Tuesday through Friday, or Saturday, 9 to 1, and we will gladly assist you with up-to-date information on the availability of the most suitable venue to meet your needs. There are many things to do when preparing for a hosted retreat at the CRC. We have conveniently provided the following list in order to assist you. The hall setup plan-o-grams are provided for St. Eugene Hall, Marian Hall, Oblate Hall and Gerard Hall so that you can plan the layout of your retreat. This also includes an Audio/Visual setup as well. A few things you may want to consider..... Golf CartDo you have any retreatants that may need assistance in walking? We have a golf cart that you may rent for $25 a day during your retreat. Golf Cart Policy BONFIRE
PoolIf you have booked Oblate Hall and would like to reserve our pool during your retreat then you may reserve it for a deposit of $150.00. If there aren't any damages to the pool during your stay we will gladly give you a full refund of the deposit. Archdiocese of Galveston-HoustonAll Parishes and Organizations in the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston must provide a Certificate of Insurance from the following group: Catholic Mutual Group 713-741-8758 All other groups are responsible to sign the Hold Harmless Agreement.
