HOW CAN I SUPPORT THE CRC?Prayer: The most important way that you can support the work and ministry of the Christian Renewal Center is to remember us in your prayers. Your prayers are infinitely more powerful than you think, and we bear witness to the miraculous power of the love and prayers of God’s faith filled children every day. In addition to other prayer support, there are prayer baskets in both our chapels that you are welcome to place your prayer offerings and prayer petitions into. Your prayers will be remembered during the many Liturgies and prayer services that are part of the retreat ministry of the CRC. Work: The dedication, and just plain hard work of so many of the volunteer ministers who give of their time and talents in support of the ministry of the CRC, is a testament to the our calling and our commission to be the very hands and feet of Christ, working to build His Kingdom on earth. Financial Support: Many sources of revenue are downright essential for a retreat center to remain open and viable. Grants, endowments, donations, and other forms of gifts and offerings are not just means of obtaining “extra” income, but are absolutely necessary for the CRC to remain open and capable of serving the spiritual needs of the Christian community. Donations of cash (by Visa, MasterCard or Discover) are easy to do, and can benefit the CRC immediately to help with current needs. You may even wish to set up a recurring gift to support the ministry of the CRC through your bank. If you prefer to support the ministry of the CRC with an ongoing pledge of regular or periodic financial gifts, please call CRC Business Services, Yolanda Linky (281) 337-1312 ext. 16, and she will help you set up a “secure” direct withdrawal account for your convenience. There are many other ways you can join us in our Mission to “provide a Christian Environment for the Spiritual Renewal of our brothers and sisters in Christ.” Naming the CRC as beneficiary of a life insurance policy, or retirement assets. Providing for the future of the CRC and leaving a lasting legacy by naming the CRC in your will. Check with your financial advisors (attorney, accountant) to learn about tax advantages, specific wording, etc. But always remember that our legal title must be used.
